Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told Juventus chiefs that he will not be returning to Italy anytime soon after his teammate Daniele Rugani was tested positive to coronavirus.

Daniele Rugani was on Wednesday, March 11, confirmed positive of the disease which came as a great shock to all his teammates and friends.

And after the confirmation, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to stay isolated in his home country until the disturbing situation comes down.

According to the reports, the former Real Madrid star has communicated with his bosses in Turin that he won’t be coming back to Italy for now.

And since all the sporting activities in Italy have been suspended indefinitely, it means that Juventus chiefs have no problem not seeing him.

Ronaldo actually traveled to Portugal after the club’s win over Inter Milan to be with his mother who is down with a stroke, and he made the trip with all his family.

It was while in the hospital with his mum that the news of his teammate Rugani broke which has caused fears and panic among Juventus stars.

This is because Rugani was with his teammates to celebrate their victory over Inter Milan as they remain on top of the Serie A standings.

As it is now, there is no actual date that Ronaldo will return to Italy as the Portuguese want to take precautionary steps so as not to contract the disease.
