The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) caucus in the House of

Representatives met with former president, Goodluck Jonathan on

Thursday.

The ex-President announced the meeting on his verified Twitter handle,

@GEJonathan, at 5.10pm.

Jonathan tweeted, “This afternoon, I had an audience with members of

the @OfficialPDPNig Caucus in the House of Representatives, led by their

leader, Honourable Kingsley Chinda, who paid me a courtesy call in my

office.”
Efforts to get Chinda to explain the meeting proved abortive as he did not

pick his calls.

Chinda later sent a text message to inform newsmen that he was at a

meeting with the National Working Committee(NWC) of the PDP.

“In a meeting with NWC,” he wrote.
